Smoke, smoke and more smoke

This was sunrise at Moses Lake.  That is the sun, not the moon.  We had smoke from Wenatchee and Ellensburg fires.  There were air quality alerts well after we left.

This was a sunset in Moses Lake.  We could hardly wait to leave the area because when we drove through Wenatchee I took extra meds and used a respirator mask and still lost my voice.
So, we moved on to Delco, Idaho and what do we run into?  More fires in Idaho.  We only stayed one night here.  The only thing good to come from fires is beautiful sun rises and sun sets.  We kept hoping to out run the smoke; good luck with that.

This is the view we've had through out the trip.  The jet stream keeps sending the smoke south as fast as we drive.
